ARTS & CULTURE

Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest: $ 4,000 for general operations to enhance the organization's mission.

MOMENTA Performing Arts Company: $ 3,500 to support programs including the Fall concert series and inclusion of dancers with disabilities.

CHILDCARE

Hephzibah Children's Association: $10,000 to support community day care programs

Oak Park & River Forest Day Nursery: $2,500 to support community day care programs.

Parenthesis: $2,500 to train staff and hire communications consultant for Parents as Teacher child development program.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

Animal Care League: $3,500 for general operations to enhance the organization's mission. Volunteer Center: $2,500 to support the organization to attain affiliate status with national volunteer organizations.

EDUCATION

Oak Park Education Foundation: $4,000 to support educational enrichment programs including Vex Robotics, Art Start and Global Village Scientist.

HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES

Family Service & Mental Health Center of Oak Park and River Forest: $2,000 to support staffing for case work to serve people with mental illness.

Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Clinic: $2,000 for general operations to enhance the organization's mission.

Vital Bridges: $1,000 to support programs including food & nutrition education for low-income HIV/AIDS clients.

West Suburban PADS: $4,000 to increase capacity through the purchase of a Web-based donor management system.

RECREATION

Senior Citizens' Center Oak Park River Forest: $2,400 for general operations to enhance the organization's mission.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Seguin Services: $10,000 to support community employment programs for people with disabilities.

Ten Thousand Villages Oak Park: $2,000 to support the training of paid and volunteer staff at this nonprofit store with a global sustainability and social justice mission.
